Why is the choke won’t stay out, it feels a lot of pressure when I pull it out

eBay has used ones. That is why your motor wasn't running right because you aren't using your primer correctly. Google how to use it. Here is an eBay link with the knob. https://www.ebay.com/itm/304560612657

    100:1 or 50:1?

Most likely you didn't kill it running 100 to 1 for that short of time and at low speed but maybe someone before you if they ran it at WOT for any length of time. What knob by the way? 68 is not good so you may want to retest with another tester. Not sure why it's running at home and not while...

2007 Evinrude 115 Hp etec 2 stroke won’t turn over on cold starts

You could remove the starter and bench test it. If you know how to do that. You can't jump the solenoid, at least not in the traditional way, but you can check voltage to it and through it. Remove the wire that goes to the starter and check voltage while someone turns the key.

2007 Evinrude 115 Hp etec 2 stroke won’t turn over on cold starts

By the way, when it does start does it run fine? If so than it is electrical. Wire, soloniod or starter.

2007 Evinrude 115 Hp etec 2 stroke won’t turn over on cold starts

Kinda weird. So I have a 2009 115 E-Tec with 950 hours. The only thing that has ever gone bad (knock on wood) is the starter. Mine didn't do that though, it started making a grinding noise. To me either, bad wire (ground or hot) or starter. Test voltage at hot side of soloniod while turning...

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

I know that, but they contracted with them and put those on Bayliners all over the place. I never saw them on other boats but maybe they did. Are you saying they weren't scaled down motors?

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

Yes, your correct. What was i thinking. Multi tasking in the kitchen and not thinking correctly. And your also correct, get that thing broke in and then see what the R's do and maybe put a 19 inch pitch on there. Should give you more top end speed. One thing to note...the 48 and the 88 and the...

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

Okay, well I'll have to recheck that... Screw size might be to small. 13.5 hmmm I have, what I believe is, a 15 inch one on my 115 but it an Etec so hard to compare. So damn big that it just clears the cav plate! (1/4inch) Props are tough....lots of things in trying to figure those things out.

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

Well if he goes WOT and trims it out and he pulls 6000 rpm's out of it then he needs to take some inches out of it. Sounds like a heavy boat with maybe some hull drag. Could be lots of things

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

You are supposed to check max rpm at WOT with the motor trimmed up so you may be a little over propped. 30 seems slow but how big is the boat and what does it weight?

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

That's about where you want to be rpm wise. I had a 90 for many years then switch to a 110 bubbleback. They were very close in performance.

Yes it's toast. Why is it we can't even make plastic as good as the good old days!!!!

    Johnson 112 vs 90 questions..

I'm going to vote yes on this. 90hp vrs 112hp.... Same prop. Not sure if you have a tach but you could check to see if your engine is reaching peak horsepower and then adjust the propeller. You would need to go up to a 6 cylinder to see a big increase in performance.

    85 evinrude 75hp please help.

There is a reason they name boats after women!!! I'm thinking short somewhere....wires under flywheel maybe. Short or corrosion, something along those lines. Keep looking.

    Fuel line connection

Race, If you blow up the picture of the fitting, it appears to me that his plastic is all deformed. When you were replacing o-rings, even the plastic back then was better!!

    Fuel line connection

Also, it's quite a common problem. I bet 50% of kicker boats with portable fuel cans have some type of leak. Especially like the open vent, hot summer day, full tank of gas. Open air, non smoker probably ok.....leaking tank in an enclosed space.....different issue.
