    The one on the left is alarm - Tan/Blue wire The one on the right is the gauge sensor - Tan wire Test gauge sensor but putting in a pan of water. Connect ohm meter and heat it up

    The Reg is behind the motor mount on top. My guess is you have a 30 psi system. Could try to pinch closed the return fuel line going back to the filter. Do this without the motor running just cycle the key. What your looking for is to find out if you can get the pressure to go up to 50 psi...

    That's good Then just the one connection between Dizzy and coil. Then just needs power from purple to run. The other connection on the coil would be for the Tach but its not needed to run

    Thanks I understand The big IF unless someone has an answer is to find a plug on the intake. If there is one on one of the intake runners then plug can be removed and fitting installed. If not, then its of no use. Could use a Tach but agree not as good for idle as a vacuum gauge

    It has a connector between Dizzy and coil If you have an Alpha drive there should be a wire between the right connector on the Dizzy to the shift interruptor The Dizzy module gets power power from the purple wire which use to feed the TBV.

    I don't know either. If your on a hose, then the motor is not getting all the water it can. If your in the water and it still gets that hot, I just don't know

    Real hard to read, would be nice to hit the return key every once in a while Which 5.7 do you have? I read carb, do you have a serial number?

    Sounds like you have corrosion issius and instead of finding where its taking place your running jumpers. Which 5.7 do you have? Original serial number would be best but at least Gi, GXi - E etc

    I would try disconnect the plug from the Temp switch. As before one side will have power until the motor starts, then it will be ground and go to zero. You could pierce the insulation but that can cause issues later if not sealed up If after the motor starts the lead goes to zero, you know...

    Its hot riding a tractor You have a MEFI-3 but not positive its 30 or 43. The Reg spiking is ok so long as it doesn't go above 30 for a 30 or 43 for a 43. With the motor running it should be steady at spec. Merc used 16236009 first and then 16236999 later, just not sure when they changed...
