    Map of waterways available?

I doubt you will find one that covers the entire earth. So..... which little corner of the world are you interested in? Don't know if you will find exactly what you are looking for. Most rivers are navigable, but there may be a dam smack dab in the middle of it that prevents your passing...

    Whats the best hydrofoil

Does the boat need any modification, or do we have an inexperienced boater? There are lots of new boaters out there that don't know what is "normal" for a boat. What we need is more info. What the poster needs, is an experienced bass boater to assess the situation. Jack plate, trim tabs, foils...

    Trailer balance questimate?

Just try to get 75 - 100# tongue wt and you should be good. Much less than that and the trailer is gonna sway all over.

    Whats the best hydrofoil

A 17'er with 200 hp should pop out of the water if propped right. Trim full down, 3/4 to full throttle, touch the sky for 2 or 3 seconds and then it should come down. And no, hydrofoil ain't gonna do carp for you. Jack plate maybe, or trim tabs. Oh, and this would be the best hydrofoil. Has...

    Trailer balance questimate?

The rollers need to stay where they are. Last roller needs to be under the edge of the transom. Otherwise you are asking for trouble, like creating a hook in the hull. Or even cracking it. Move the axle back a foot. They sell all kinds of trailer hardware "U" bolts. No need to fabricate them...

Bow of boat hits winch when loading onto trailer

Hook should be BELOW the roller. Winch post needs to be raised. NOT lowered. Safety chain should be BELOW the roller. Ideally safety chain or strap should go down to the frame/tongue. If possible, winch mounting surface should be angled up, so the rollers are higher. This will also drop the...

Does anyone know about a 1978 Bahama trihull?

I'd hold out for CASH for the guns. Then go boat shopping if thats what you want. Old glass boats can be money pits, and servicing that motor and outdrive may be impossible.

    Kicker motor questions???

Yes you can set it up for full remote control. Lots of boats are set up that way. There are several systems that offer precise speed control and steering wirelessly with a hand held remote. Tailfin, Troll Master, Panther, etc.

    New Hitch Ball

If you want an extension, get an extension. I think you can get them from 6 - 18" long, maybe 24" long. Now, its not likely to make much difference when launching and loading, but it will put more space between the tow vehicle and the trailer winch post, giving you space to open the tailgate...

Where did all the used boats and motors go?

You referenced your location as "here" a half dozen times. Where is "HERE" ? Lakes seem pretty full in the northern 2/3's of Wisconsin. Launch parking lots are often full, and lots of watercraft going in circles out on the water. Tough to fish unless you go out mid week.

Water in 1995 Procraft with mercury engine

Batteries should be fine as long as they didn't fill with excess water and some how force the acid out. I don't think that is likely to occur. Many/most batteries are "sealed" maintenance free now days. The exception being deep cycle batteries which will have removable caps. 12v batteries can't...
