    Minnesota members, Got Milk??

Re: Minnesota members, Got Milk?? Ok, thanks, so they either changed the law, or just don't enforce it. I know we bought milk for the hotel when we were at Mayo a few years ago, but can't remember if it was in plastic or not. I do remember that the super mega gigantic walmart had the tiniest...

    Minnesota members, Got Milk??

What ever happened to the Mn law that banned selling milk in non-returnable non-refillable plastic jugs? I know it was upheld by the US Supreme court. Was it ever rescinded or changed? Replaced with a deposit law? Expanded to juice or water? Are you all still buying your milk in paperboard...

    Ultra Tow hubs?

Re: Ultra Tow hubs? I know nothing about "ultra hubs", except that they sell them at northern tool. And apparently nowhere else according to google. A SURE - LUBE hub is similar, tried and true. Grease enters the front/outside of the spindle, travels thru the spindle, then is forced into the...

I just love some things about where I live.

For example, tonight (10:45 pm) I pulled up to the gas pump in a car with no plates. Hit the pay inside button on the pump, a few seconds later a voice said "go ahead on pump 1". No prepay, no credit card, no plates, no problem. I have lived here 15+ years. Edge of town, 2 miles from Walmart...

    Anybody Use a Hitch Extender?

Re: Anybody Use a Hitch Extender? I have a 24" extension, that I used so I could open the lift gate on the tow vehicle with the trailer attached. No longer have that boat, so haven't used it in years. It towed fine. I don't know how much 12" or 24" is going to help you at the launch. Might...

What do you think about my trailer incident?

Re: What do you think about my trailer incident? Mine broke last week too. Cheap Seasense model I think. Cheap steel, thin steel, ripped right in half. Don't know if it came loose before or after the steel broke, but it was tight and had been on the trailer for a year. Was checked just 2 weeks...

Sizing a trailer for a boat

Re: Sizing a trailer for a boat Assuming we are talking about a 12 or 14' boat.... You can let her hang off the boat a foot or two without a motor. I would not do this with a motor. Coupler to boat, a foot, even less. It can't get any closer to the truck. Here is my jon boat, if it would...
