    DuoProp choice ?

Agree lower set, and could add a bit of cupping on the set which would help reduce the slip. In turn the cup would lower the WOT rpm slightly (maybe 100 rpm) and may get the speed up at WOT. Only issue is reducing the bite of the prop in reverse

If you have a air compressor with a regulator, adjust it to a given pressure and see if the fuel gauge reads close to the same. This would be a good check, noid light

    DuoProp choice ?

Motor will burn based on HP needed to sustain speed under a given load. Motor will burn more fuel under a given at a load lower rpm then the same load with higher rpm. Like climbing a hill in 4th gear, would be easier in 3rd gear. Cruising at 4000 rpm can burn less and be easier on the motor...

The HVS distributor has a metal body and a plastic cap. Edit: maybe I should say not all are metal With putting some gas down the TB we know that its not missing gas its missing spark. Remove the distributor cap, then bump the starter until the notch on the harmonic balancer aligns with the...

    battery warning light

I don't see that you have a problem. The standard marine ALT does the same thing even on a 12V system. Most don't have lights but gauges. If the gauge is watched, it stays low until the first time the rpms are increased, then the ALT starts producing full output and stays that way

Unless your getting bad parts, the fall off of fuel pressure is easy to diagnosis. Mentioned the cool fuel module was replaced, and the module contains pump, cooler and regulator. Unless these were used parts, you should not be having this issue. 0Hg would be fine while cranking You could...

Look at the fuel filter housing, there will be 3 lines on it. One from the tank, one going to the fuel pump and one coming back from the fuel pump regulator. Look at the arrows on the filter housing, If the line coming back from the regulator is removed and blocked off, and the filter head...
