    1) Check the plastic feed tube to gauge to see if its melted closed somewhere. 2) When you turned on water to power head you should have had water coming back down exhaust whether running or not.

    You have the new style ros so take it off crank and you can remove the circlips. and tap wrist pin out. New piston will come wit wrist pin. The new one will slip right in

    Yes the Devcon is goooood stuff as used to build nose cones out of it for go fast racing. It winter so take your time and build it up and shape it...then have it powder coated in 2 coats .Send the impeller to have repaired and balanced.

    Since it overheat I would replace all head gaskets, base gasket, water tube grommet's, divider and inspect block for impeller parts. My bet its under powerhead..

    Are these wedges in the hull or actual tabs that are adjustable ? As stated you about 70 hp under the rating. It riding bow high as cannot lift the stern...so stay with biggest diameter 4 blade

    If the top of block is machined enough that the timer base and bushing fit and crankshaft nose is long enough it may work

    When you see that "beer bottle brown" glaze in cylinder , cylinder rings have lost their tension, also that a bridged port exhaust so modify bridge after rebore. You will see stock piston has pinholes drilled in the side to add lube on bridge and replacement pistons will not. Yearly water pump...

    That is the river cruiser hull will cutter bow....slips thru water better. The earlier models with the 318 Chizzlers and Dana drive would actually plane and run high 20's MPH...same hull

    1992 Mercruiser 4.3 Alpha One Gen II has water in oil after rebuild.

    The intakes like to freeze and crack under the carb..... leaks water into lifter valley..

    GPH Question

    Being a V-drive it most likely has 15x12 props ,one RH and one LH. If boating on a lake GPH will only change with load. If on rivers you will use more fuel going upstream vs down.
