    post all cylinder numbers. 150 psi is good, 120 psi is not good a proper range is 145-155. not a 30 psi swing verify the timing with Rinda, or go thru the factory service manual on verifying the installation of the timing.

    where did the rot start? I would personally not use epoxy to "seal" the wood. epoxy will crack vs flex I would use either linseed oil, Old Timers Formula or oil based paint. could always buy marine plywood. difference between ACX and marine ply is the wood itself as the glue is the same

    KY jelly works (water soluble). bacon grease works (water soluble), hand lotion from your wifes purse works.... WD40 works.... can also use soap. dont overthink it.
