    I wouldnt worry about your 4.3. with maintenance, it will last a good 4-5000 hours I used to drop pitch for trolling to get my trolling speed down

    2-stroke oil is a great stabilizer of fuel since it has a carbon chain in it. as Chris stated, stand it on end, pull the plugs and spray some oil in the cylinders and lube the other things.

    You're overthinking it. I would not run a mechanical fuel pump drawing against a closed valve. If you want to run the carb dry, just pull the fuel pump and run the motor

    Most likely the carb needs work. Verify fuel is squirting. Make sure the choke works Being a 1990 cruisers make sure you do not have moisture in the transom and stringers Most cruisers boats of that era would have needed repair long before 2025.

    thats a flip-flop seat back. it basically flips forward for you to sit facing aft. i believe its either TACO or MMC hardware
