When my boat is on the trailer, this happens.

I would do a thorough flush clean and refill everything. If the inside looks anything like the outside, might be crudded up..

    Mercury 110 9.8hp Prop

In my area (lots if marinas and boat shops) small engine props are plentiful in house and on Ebay. Often see many at garage sales. Use your part number to get dia and pitch, then go shopping.

I need help/advice to fix my 14.6 ft Alumicraft v-bottom boat from scratches/gouges and cracking sealer in the front bottom.. Thanks!

I feel your pain on the failed keel roller damage. Mine split as well and the gouges look similar. I had no leaks so I just painted over the scratches and cussed at it a lot !! Did replace with one of the yellow poly rollers, no more rubber rollers on my trailers !!

prop recommendations for Trophy walk around 25 foot

No matter what, we need to know what your current engine is turning at wot with your current prop, then compare that to the max operating rpm recommended by the engine mfgr. Anything else is a guess !!

    Mercruiser 3.0 Engine knocking noise

Check for a cracked block if water is in the oil...did you check how flat the deck ( block) was before putting the head back on ?? 3.0 heads are known for warping under overheat conditions but the block deck can also be out. Usually shows low compression on #2-3 if a warped head or deck. Did...

    1965 3.9hp plug fouls

Have you run a compression test ? I would stay with factory recommended parts, in my 60 years of boating, they always worked the best.

    Bayliner Trophy Bilge pump question

All depends on the situations already mentioned. When I had my bigger boat, I did have some minor leaks that caused the bilge pump to come on every so often. I decided to upgrade my pump....just in case....!!! They had a sale, two for the price of one, so I bought a pair. Replaced the built...

    93 Crownline- Good Trouble?

What is the max HP rating on the boat ?? If overpowered by a bunch then you will be at fault in any accident that occurs. Your insurance company may have some words of advice !! Remember, lawyers will look hard for any excuse to make you liable !! With that much HP, I would make sure the...

    Bunk Boards or Guide Poles?

Over my 60 plus years of boating, I have had trailers with both, poles and side guides. Needless to say the longer side guides were by far the easier to load with when conditions were bad. Poles are OK, but when conditions get tough, side board guides are far better in my opinion.

    Wrong year on title

If hin on hull matches hin on title there shouldn't t be an issue, the title is for ownership of the hull not the year. Years back I worked for a marina, boats and motors were titled by the serial number, the date was date of sale. Many boats and motors were sold a year or two after they were...

    Remove seat from pedestal - 2007 Q4

I do not have the same boat, so this may or may not help. I have a seat on a pedestal that doesn't come off ( easily) also. Mine swivels and has a lock to hold it in position. I need to remove the lock part, then there is a clamp that uses a hex wrench to loosen that allows the seat to come...
