    Any way you cut it, bunks distribute the load over a much larger area and both need to be set properly.. roller or bunk.

    I have a hydroplane I built with dads help in 1961 called a scat cat he found a 18 HP merc that was less than 100 lbs. Still have the boat,a few years ago I thought about finding a motor but nothing is available these days that comes close..

    That unit looks pretty tight the mouse might have entered it from inside the wall..in any case I feel your pain but I think I would look for the entrance rather than cage the entire unit.. The chicken wire I'm familiar with is too big to stop a mouse, hardware cloth would be a good choice.

    I have an old BF 75 on a sailboat and a mud dauber type bug stopped up the crankcase breather hose which caused the engine to leak oil past the main oil seal under the flywheel..
