old (unsure of year) Honda BF75 (7.5hp) outboard won't throttle in neutral or reverse

Most likely you need to adjust the cable. as far as I know that is the only intended adjustment. The shift lever has a metal plate on it that prevents the throttle linkage from moving much unless it is in forward position. I suppose you could remove that plate or maybe mod it..

old (unsure of year) Honda BF75 (7.5hp) outboard won't throttle in neutral or reverse

I have one of those on a sailboat. it will not rev high in neutral or reverse. If you look at the linkage under the cowl you will see how it locks out.

    Shift Interrupter Switch Unhooked however...

You got away with it disconnected because you have a small engine, don't try it with a v8. My boat was like that when I got it and I promptly backed it into the shallows and tore up the prop. It goes into gear easily but getting back to neutral was a bear. I would hook it back up and see how...

Hook up boat engine to permanent magnet generator.

I may be way off here, (i usually am) but if you did have a genny set up to the main engine my first thought was the fuel consumption would be much more than a small separate unit.

Kind of a weird question on a/c for boat

You might consider placing the unit on the dock an just duct the cool air to the boat. Keep noise to a minimum.

Welcome to the forum. I can't help much here but I see a lot of wake board boats on Watts Bar and most all are bow riders. Other than ballast bladders I don't know what the difference would be.
