    Merc trim pump

The rams can allow water into the system, without PTT oil leaking out. Replace the reservoir and the fluid and bleed the rest of the water out of it. Launch and monitor for new water. You can be lazy (and cheep) and just suck the oil out of the reservoir and replace it every time the water...

    New issues on engine

That is an old inline Merc, right. Dry out the area and put a dab of silicone on the leak. Alternatively, you could replace the water jacket cover gasket, however, you risk breaking some or all of the bolts holding it on.

    Dual cable rotary steering

Gee, I run a single cable standard Sea Star system on my 21 footer with a Johnny 150HPV6 engine. I have no issues with it. I would recommend the no feed back version, as it is a bit better.

    Sharrow prop

There is a Utube video where they talk about MIT inventing a Toroidal prop for drones that is quieter and more efficient than a std prop. They quickly then talk abut the Sharrow prop. Kinda looks to be a Sharrow ad, with the drone stuff thrown in to make a case for the technology.

    1994 Johnson 115hp, V4…Tilt Trim question?

If only the tilt piston seal leaks, there would not be an external leak. They PTT uits also have check valves. These could leak, but are pretty reliable. Does she leak down fast or slow?

    Murcury 850 thunderbolt ignition tachometer

Of course, a 4 cylinder 2 cycle motor's ignition pulses can mimic an 8 cylinder 4 cycle engine's ign pulses. However, there is no way to know if that tacho can read the OB's battery powered CDI ign pulses, as it is likely for a points/coil ignition.

Possibly, however, it is a simple test to see if you have good spark, and if so, rule out that issue.

    4 Blade?

That looks to be a bass boat. They are usually light and fast. 3 blade props are usually preferred for light and fast boats. A 3 blade prop with a large amount of rake is usually a good choice for speed and performance, on that style of hull.

    Murcury 850 thunderbolt ignition tachometer

A typical tachometer would have several settings. It is powered by the stator pulses. Outboard motors use a common stator, so a common tach can be used as well. Merc's generally uses the 6 cyl/12 pole setting. In your case, you will need to see if it works properly with your motor. One...

    1994 Johnson 115hp, V4…Tilt Trim question?

If the motor "leaks" down gradually, the tilt cylinder seal could be bad. If she falls down fast, there is something else wrong. Perhaps a bad manual release valve?

    1993 Evinrude 60hp

So it won't idle below 1200RPM and bogs above 4500RPM? Idle above 1200RPM would indicate some timing or throttle linkage issue. Bog above 4500RPM would indicate a fuel delivery issue. Bad running after bumping a rock would indicate a possible (possible) electrical issue, or more likely is...

    1994 Johnson 115hp, V4…Tilt Trim question?

If the PTT systems get air in them, the motors will run and the motor not tilt. So if you have the manual release closed, get someone to help you lift the motor, all the way up, while running the PTT motor in the UP direction. Locate the manual tilt lock (starboard side usually), and lock her...

    Wiring diagram

Bass boats sometimes had a trolling motor or trim system switches in the bow. Are either of those a possibility?

    1993 Evinrude 60hp

You should pump the primer bulb when she slows down. If that fixes the issue you have some sore of fuel restriction or a weak fuel pump. Did you replace the VRO pump with anything?

    1996 90HP Mercury 2-Stroke - Plug Read Help Diag

The bottom spark plug is pretty clean. It should look like the others. Make sure it is getting spark and fuel from the carb. If you see beads of water on it, suspect the crank seal.

1989 Mercury 60hp primary pick up adjustment

Just set the primary pickup and the max spark advance correctly. It doesn't matter where they are set now. If the set screw is all the way in or out, you have some other issue. The throttle stop is to prevent the stops on the carbs from being bent, when the driver slams the throttle forward...

1989 Mercury 60hp primary pick up adjustment

The lowest screw on the throttle arm is likely the idle stop (speed) screw. Primary pickup screw is usually just above the pivot point of the throttle arm. You need to figure out which screw is throttle stop and which is max spark advance screw. Max spark advance should stop trigger from...

1989 Mercury 60hp primary pick up adjustment

Gee, if you are working on a motor that old, you need the correct service manual, a not many shops will work on it. The throttle arms changed a bit, but not that much since being introduced in the 1976-1980 model year or earlier. You should be able to figure it out with careful observation...

Prop for 1995 mercury 200 efi

Gee a Bass boat (typical) would fly with a 200HP motor. A prop efficiency calculator would tell you that you have massive slip.. My boat similar to a bass boat runs 60+ with a 135HP Merc and a 21 pitch prop. You have another issue.

Prop for 1995 mercury 200 efi

Looks like you need to know if your motor is 2 cycle or 4 cycle. That prop is not avail on that web site, but if you get the right hub number, it is avail on other sites. https://www.boatpropellerwarehouse.com/category/5509/26-pitch Mercury 135-400HP Outboards 135-400HP Outboards...
