    Haven't seen a gripe about this yet, but on my phone there isn't a "tree" of which subforum I'm in. So if I open a post, I have to hit the back button to get back to the list of posts.     My ladder broke off right at the fitting (unfortunately I don't have a pic of the damage/ladder until friday). The ladder is pretty unique as far as I can tell, and the fittings allow it to lock in the up position. My transom has weird angles, and most replacement ladders I don't think will fit...

    Fuel pump pressure testing?

    Wanting to get the fittings together to hook up a gauge. Found the carb inlet size as 3/8 Barb to Male npt. Can't find the fuel pump outlet size. Also might be nice to check vacuum as well if the pressure is low, so the fuel pump inlet size might be nice to know as well.. .

    Trying to chase down a high speed miss/bog. Rebuilt the carb with no effect. Started looking at regular tune up stuff. #4 plug broke off. Any way to remove the remainder without pulling the head? Some sort of ez out/left hand bit?

    TL;DR version: What's the correct float drop for carb #1389-3489? Seen online in a few places, in the sierra carb rebuild kit instructions, and in the merc 3.0 manual that the drop should be 27mm. The merc #8 manual says 44.5mm, which is what I went with.
