    switch designs can vary so you need to physically establish the switching desing pattern and connect proper wires to each screw post. sorry can't do much more at this end.

    one wire is CHOKE so touch 12v on it to hear the choke pull up One wire is Start/selenoid so touch 12v on it to hear the starter going accessories connect to the A post FROM A with a ohm meter find the B+ post which is the ONLY one connected to A with the key at the ON position see...

    btw did your check the EMM lights themselves ?? are any ON while the engine runs...poorly At Key ON all lights should light up and then go off do you see any remaining ON at KEY ON ??? (EV diag. should have flagged those) if no faults pop on EV diag, no lights come on the TACH or...

    check EMM lights during various stages.. post results Key ON..... Key START..... btw... battery fully charged and spins the engine ok ? any active faults on EV diag.

    start by doing a ful l circle check of all wiring , connectors , batt grounds etc... btw find and check all fuses....inspect & reseat if you have a service manual check whatever you can assoc. with ignition failures ... checlk connections between EMM and ignition coils!! look...

    what about the A letter I see....regardless you have few options If you are handy measure with a VOM to determine each function BTW... thisinfo is for assistance but may be different on your switch .but the basics are there for you to trouble shoot and reconnect the wires. look...

    limp... or safe mode would still produce ignition at 1200 rpms max on my post FICHT....ETEC 75hp. that screen on EV diag almost implies corrupted files or SW or ..something is that the only screen that pops up when connecting ???

    I clearly see letters stamped om the edge....go with that A=Accessories M Magneto can'T see others due to angle.....look for B for B+ battery 12v etc... otherwise use a VOM to test contact configurations in various states ex: B+ to A 0hms while ON B+ to S 0 ohms...

    sounds approx. ok for me ... my Merc Classic 50 from the 80s would go about same distance on a 5 gal tank. expensive critters these days at 8$ gal in Canada time to move up to fuel injection technology my 75 ETEC burns half my Merc 500 would and trolls at about 2 cups (.6L hour ) :)...

    gaskets.... lots of parts are identical... you are lucky if the number did not change ! they frequently do from year to year power head can have differences internally Experts here will tell you if the are realy the same !
