    Looking at the hull design, and the boats length, 55 would be pushing the Limit I've put 140s on 15ft hulls rated for 90. Whether or not those 99cu in V4s could make more than 128hp in Stock form is another matter. But the hull was an entirely different configuration

    Welcome to iboats What is the WOT range for your engine? and what Rpms are/were you getting with the prop(s)? Few 16 ft boats will get any where near 50, let alone 60 mph with only a 90hp. 41 isn't bad for a 90hp on a 16 ft,
