    when the starter does not turn do you hear the selenoid clicks ??? has suggested repolish al connections....starter may have a bad spot if the selenoid clicks when the key is ON.... just tap the starter with a rubber mallet see what happens ....

    have you check the thermostat lately ? does the FD13 have one ? overheating ? or just heat just messing up the coils/condensers ? are they new ? " won't turn over for a few minutes." ... as in stuck hard or no ignition ???

    any good brand tcw3 will do fine I believe xd50 is semi synthetic and has some carbon inhibitors check for good sparks... 3/8 inch if not redo electricals change the impeller clean the carb and run some engine cleaner like Merc Power tune...

    try a wide blade flat punch and alternately hit the edge of the part to break it free you have nothing to lose now keep soaking it. I have used Dupont silicon spray with great success on struck parts... it is a water like spray and sweeps in fast by capillary action by the way...
