How badly is it bent ?----Should be easy to change a good ( not bent ) propshaft.---Or have your local machine shop straighten it ?------Find one and ask how to change it

Have you installed a new water pump impeller ??-----Tested the overheat horn ?-----Fuel mixed at 50:1 ?----Checked gear oil ?------Exhaust housing is clear , not partially plugged ?
The picture on the right is correct.-----And just so you know it can be started in gear !!----The red mechanism prevent starting when THROTTLE is open too far.
People take thermostats out when they do not know and are desperate !----Are you testing in a bucket or with boat floating in the water ?-----Maybe the tell tale hose is plugged , have you tried to clean it and fittings ??
