    The swapping of parts gets into fine details.------You might have to pull the powerhead to install the longer exhaust housing.----You might have to pull the gearcase apart to install a longer driveshaft and shift rod.

    You might find that 5/32 ID is the right hose.-----And use ty-wraps made for hose.

    We get all these arguments from some folks.----Put the driver coil in the correct position and test run.

    Coils can not be just installed like a sparkplug.----There is a factory tool to locate them in the correct position.---Agreed---- I think driver coil appears to be interfering.

    Doable for say around $1500 if you find good used crankshaft and rods.----3 new o/s pistons, gasket set , water pump kit.----And do the work yourself.

    Put a little 4 hp together the other day.----Took minutes.----Did you remove gearcase in neutral ?----If so the gearcase is likely in forward now.------Match the shift lever to the lower unit and slide it together.

    Crankshaft is scrap.-----The #2 cylinder is usually the worst.-----With 3 new pistons and used crank and rods it might be worth it.
