    You mean in there? 😳 Different note, I stuck a spray bottle down the barrel and squirted the fuel out. This is what it looked like... hopefully because of the fogging oil o sprayed in during winterizing?

    What is the anti siphon valve? I'll attach a picture of the fuel lines. Yeah I filled it up in the fall... still need to figure out the issue where the fuel overflows out of the fill tube on warm days...

    It has gas in it but it is about a half inch from the top. Usually it spills out when I take the filter off

    Choke is electric. No sputtering or trying to start at all. Just cranks and cranks. Good cranking power but nothing. No kill switch lanyard that i am aware of. Last year it was hard to start for the season (my first full season with it) but it did start.

    I replaced the fuel filter last fall and filled it with gas when I did that. Is there a reason it might not have gas now? Where do I find the serial number? The fuel pump is belt driven off the water pump.

    A lot?.....I would say well over a minute total cranking in 5-10 second intervals. Is the liquid seen looking down the barrels something of concern? You can see the reflection in the video in my post.

    I don't mind rebuilding the carb of that's what is needed. I do wonder about seeing the liquid through the barrels too. Is that normal? I don't remember that being a thing in my last (4.3 merc) boat.

    They do feel smooth How do you"match them up"? Take them out and go to the auto parts store? Assuming i would have to take the giant castle nut off to check this...

    Both the u joints and gimbal feel buttery smooth, but clearly one of them is not if I am getting the growling described, right? Sounds like a fun job. Any chance there is more stuck in the exhaust? How would I know?
