    Yes, I would take the law into my own hands, then I would be going to jail for knocking the snot out of a guy that stole some ones motor and sold it to me, while he gets 90 days probation and I sit in jail for 18- 24 months. Isn't that the way the law works? LOL

    I do not think it would start with a rope if it is cold, would it? edit: I never tried it on anything over my 8 H.P. motors that I've had 'cuz I never thought that I would get enough revs by putting the rope around the flywheel and pulling it, but maybe it will start fairly EZ?

    I will be ordering the kit tomorrow. I am going to order the kit for a 1983, 35 H.P. Looks like the same kit will work for many model numbers, and for a 25-30 & 35 H.P. if I am looking at things right.

    OK. I got this taken care of and installed a 60 amp. breaker on the motor. Thank every one. Removed this breaker from the electric motor that came with my boat. I bought a new motor and put the breaker on it in line to the battery.
