    You can get that prop for about 50-60 bucks. Look up how to tell if prop is slipping to confirm its the prop ( which it probably is ) or take it to a shop that's your options..

    Seen this to many times .. raise engine up take the fuel line going to the carburetors off the pump and plug the pump then pump the bulb and see if fuel comes from the carburetors if it does then its a fuel pump issue...

    Should be a double lipped seal or 2 seals on both housing since it needs to block fluid from both sides.. In which case it wouldn't matter which way it was facing because it seals from both sides

    Ok so it's all fixed the issue ended up being trash in the pump, and the float height in the vapor separator was way to high..

    I normally go oem as well but the owner of the boat didn't want to spring for the extra $45 for the base and he didn't have any info on previous service so I kind of insisted on replacing the whole pump assembly

    I've always cleaned the area good with razer and brake cleaner. Should I lightly sand the area. Keep in mind this has happened on more then 1 occasion and on multiple drives.. I'm sure it's something I am doing are could do different I was just looking for suggestions..

    Has anyone else had issues with the Bell Housing gasket pushing out when torqued to specs ( mainly on the right side looking at the unit) I always use OEM gasket for this but no matter what it always pushs out some times more then others.... Thanks Mark

    Then yes in / clockwise would be leaner also while it's running look in the carburetor and make sure there's no fuel dripping from the top .. fuel pump could have to much pressure, fuel pump diaphragm could be leaking and sending fuel up through the clear / yellow hose to top of carburetor or...
