    Turn the throttle as far as it will go right away. Don't adjust it little by little. If your motor is sitting for more than 10 minutes you may need to cold start it.

    I know, I know Your motor is more special than the other millions of them out there. Everything is different on your one motor so it requires a redesign, I get it.

    Coils should not be under the flywheel on that motor. I would clean the points.

    Yes the smaller ones with the black and yellow/red wire. But that whole thing needs to be cleaned up.

    Maybe trying to keep the carbs cool. Look up your serial # see if those are on the carb. I could be wrong

    I do not think that is Original to that carb I recall a flat plate there.

    Do you have 12 volts at the small terminal on the solenoid with the key in the start position?

    Get the manual those are good idling motors.

    The 2+2 operation makes them quirky but overall good motors. Buy a Factory manual for it.

    There should be no water going to the carbs.

    Your motor is a 2+2 4 cylinder. You have one tell tale at the back of the motor. My guess is the other one is the speedo tube not being capped off.

    You don't need a new manifold just a new pump off of the 88 hp.
