    When to start running synthetic oil

    I run Mobil1 in my 5.0, but my boat was a used purchase. I`m going to help a friend with his Q5 winterization, and this last season was his first on a brand new engine( barely broken in). I`m wondering if it`s too soon for him to run synthetic. Any Ideas?

    what fish finders are u using

    For all you fish and ski guys. I`m looking to replace my fishfinder and am wondering what works best. I don`t have the MPI on my Q6, but would like to have a finder that uses GPS for marking fishing spots and navigation. Any advice would be appreciated.:confused:

    Q6 tx47 fishfinder pickup

    Does anyone know where the transducer pickup for the 06 Q6 fish and ski is located? My fish finder only works in the simulator mode, and I suspect a problem with the transducer. I assume it is all factory, since it is the fish and ski.

    When to replace trailer tires?

    My Q6 trailer tires are 4 years old. The tread still looks very good, but the sidewalls have many small cracks. I`m getting ready for a 700 mile road trip to inlaws ,who live on a lake for 2 weeks. Should the tires be replaced? I say yes, Mama says no. What say you?:confused:
