    So did I interpret the above spec wrong in the .07 to 0.05? Should that be .07 +/- 0.05? Also is the reason you say replace the stator because of the higher resistance than factory spec. causing the charging issue? My apologies if my questions seem dumb. Thank you, Jeff

    Did a little testing with the ohmmeter. Stator is reading 1.0 to 0.9 ohms Per the factory manual my motor should have a 9 amp stator and that reading should be 0.7- 0.05 ohms. I don't know if that is significant or not. Both stator leads read 400 plus on the check for grounding. The...

    Got to bench test and install the warning horn today after work. The old one was infact bad. Tested at both temp sensors after instalation and bench tested prior. New alarm works as it should. Now to figure out the bilge and live well pumps... Jeff

    That is what I am thinking as it works when you first turn the key to on and doesn't work from the sensor connection. I'll find out when I get the other horn because there is no break in the sensors to the horn. So in my mind it has to be a faulty horn. Jeff

    Understood, but. When testing volts by meter, I have power coming from the main harness at all check points at 10 + volts. Is that normal and if I'm getting power, would that mean that the wiring is intact? I'm unsure and is why I am asking. Thank you, Jeff

    I'm grounding them to the block by placing a screwdriver in the female socket and touching a bolt on the head. Not the pigtail from the sensors, but the main harness wire at both sensors as well as the line running from the VRO. Jeff
