    Had same issue last season,drove me nutz,they just wouldnt go on, and gave the covers a pass on the grinder and they went on easily.Probably can do same with sandpaper in hand.They are just a smidgett off.Charlie

    Guess I am in the minority...HOWEVER I noticed at my local marina ,no boats wrapped,ZERO, nada ,none.Typically all boats are wrapped by now.Turns out there is no shrinkwrap available.at leat thats what I was told when asked.EXTREMELY happy of my situation.Luck of the Irish....??? Charlie

    The hose coming from the power steering cooler to the stat housing should be cool.Pull that hose and check the water flow while running on muffs.Checking the impeller flow is where I would start and making sure you didnt install the tstat upside down would be my next check.Then confirm the hoses...

    The screw is designed to back off and retighten.I dont recall it being able to come totally off.If you cant turn it,use a bigger screwdriver.Are you on the lower part of the mount,stbd side right at waterline?Charlie

    I used the double slide connector that was on the Tstat to jump the 2 wires and doubled a shrinkwrap tube over it to insulate.Works perfectly for the 10-15 mins I need it to.Thanks again Matt. Charlie
