    Gas in the oil?

3 minutes without water? You need a new impeller at least, if you're lucky.

    Gas in the oil?

Yup, that's a great way to get a ton of gas into the intake

    Gas in the oil?

    1. Yes 2. Yes 3. New carb should fix it I can see that, but you'd need a crap ton of gas getting past those rings and into the pan. I can more see that that's water mixed with the oil though

470 3 Wire BreezeWorks Alternator Conversion - No Charge

The black wire is powered by the ignition, it doesn't provide power.... Are you not getting 12v to the black wire with the ignition on? And are you getting 12v to the red wire all the time? And by charge terminal you mean the orange wire, right?

Need help with my 3.7l mcm 180

Yes, boats are expensive. No cheap fix. Your options are: 1. find a used one 2. Buy a new one 3. Find the parts and someone with the knowledge to fix it, 4. Buy some paddles and turn it into a row boat

    Bogging at low idle.....carb issue?

That's pretty much good advice for anything on the interwebs. Yeah, there are some/many tricks to everything, but at the end of the day go by what the manual says if there's any doubt. Also, it's good practice (for me at least) to make sure your float and needle are doing what they should be...

1992 Mercruiser 4.3 w/ balance shaft and 1 piece rear main seal swap to newer year Vortec.

You'll need a new bracket for the shift cable for the 4bbl, and I remember there being an issue here with an nla timing cover (?) for the non balance/vortec combo? Or maybe it was the non balance/non vortec? @Rick Stephens ?

1992 Mercruiser 4.3 w/ balance shaft and 1 piece rear main seal swap to newer year Vortec.

The mahle gasket set was automotive; IIRC the exhaust gaskets were metal in the mahle set with multiple gaskets per manifold.

Still running hot, please help .

Or bad wiring. Increased resistance in that circuit will cause the gauge to read high. What's your voltmeter read? Either way, knowing your baseline is the important thing. Looks like your actual temp is where it's supposed to be

    2003 mercruiser 4.3 issues

What ignition system do you have? Regardless, first thing would be to try disconnecting your tach from the coil and cleaning all of your electric connections including grounds.

    Boat lift options?

Definitely thought about that, and wanted to do it. Until I realized that those motors turn at 1800 rpm and still only raise it 3'/minute

    Interesting. Didn't think of that

    Boat lift options?

I think I'm going to do the dc motors and size the panels after I test the actual time the motors run and how many amps they draw. I'm also considering whether it's better to run/charge 2 batteries in parallel or to have each motor have its own system. Thinking the latter, since amp draw will be...
