    Shaft locked the crank splines

    Working on a 25hp ​The driveshaft is locked in the splines on the end of the crank. Any way to remove? I've hooked vice grips on the shaft and tried to hammer it down. Doesn't move at all. Usually I can get it to come out, NOT!!! Suggestions?

    Hyd. line location.

    This should be listed under "Old Dog, New Tricks" Was trying to help on a hydraulic pump problem. Looked up the parts diagrams for the motor, year and model. Saw that the diagram had the lines marked and the corresponding holes in the pump marked. Might help someone??

    Pull cord mechanism binding

    98/75 hp Flywheel key

    98/75 Mercury Keeps shearing the flywheel key. Starts and runs then makes a noise and shears the key. 4 keys so far. Nut is torqued to 85#​
