    Re: 1980 85hp chrysler..$150?! This type prop needs the hardware in the pic.Mercury prop in pic. Force is similar.No locking hub on Force. The older stuff won't fit the 86, the prop will go on,not the cone. They were made for the newer style,getting rid of the cone and flares.

    Re: transom saver or what There should be a trailer bracket for that motor. e-bay. See pic #24.You put it in place and lock it down with the lock switch. Probably easier to get the transom saver. Like Fucawi said if you have the room drive with it down.J

    Re: Question about prop when in neutral, forward, & reverse Hope this helps. Push down on the rod in the one pic.All the time spinning the prop either way.Then the prop pic.Pull up on the right hand side(one with the red thing)This will help spin the drive shaft. A pair of Vice-grips will work.
