    make certain the bottom fat donut #21 is installed to !! do not use a big wire ... use carb cleaning tools or small mono line in jet orifices. make certain float is not upside down ... it should drop level with the carb bowl.

    have you tried hand pumping fuel when it does start to falter ? Tank vent open ? and working ? hose is good ? needle clip on the float is installed ? cooling OK ???

    agree but... would you buy a 20 year old engine with " harder" to find injectors and unknown history. Don't get me wrong my 2005 has run great for 18 years but 2024 is coming up and as years go by... the future is uncertain. My 2 stroke kickers (small Mercs or OMC) from the 60's...

    lots of multi pin connectors on amazon. if you c an't find theexact fit to your current harness you can always hook-up a new connector set and match each wire on male and female side. just find an appropriate one for your installation...

    what is on the ID plate ?? that is the only way to know. check service prices from the dealer & if you do go dealer.... get a PDF dump for your files . you may want to invest in EV DIAG. for the future needs .and as a first step before going dealer service. may save you tons...

    I can't vouch on quality of the pump illustrated just user comments on AMAZON can guide your final choice .......consult EOB folks as to the small filter in the vst it can be cleaned with carb cleaner and air blown dry .....new one is just a few $$$ depending on the dealer . check...

    The only sensor for the HP pump is a current sensor monitored by the EMM... it can detect OPEN (no current) SHORT (excessive current). there is no fuel pressure sensor) btw.. replacement pumps non oem can....and have generated fault codes due the the pump current load not meeting...

    Cleanning it sure looks like the only option. soak soak soak with a solvent and hopefully some movement will show up. IF the inner electrical coil was not damaged (fried) it may be salvageable. Being so crudded may indicated a need to service the VST and get your injectors serviced...

    normal fuel flow cools the pump body so suspect restrictions ..typically the return filter in the video at minute 1:38 in the video can be clogged causing a high pressure condition .. see comment on a EOB case from 2019
