    Does it run fine longer then 30 minutes? If it does and when running on the tank and only get 30 minutes, check the fuel tank vent

    All motors even new ones have a small amount of blow by. As motor gets older it can increase. Looks to be poor design but motor is fine

    The gas may have phased separated. If it's not clear and does smell like gas then it needs to be replaced Replacing points and condenser would be in order and cheap enough

    These new motors need a scanner to find out what's happening. Diacom software on a laptop can record data while its running then it can be reviewed later

    The TB coil has internal resistance, points coil uses external resistance. Look at the coils and see if it is printed on it

    Your entire motor is tired. If 100 is accurate then the motor is basically running on 3 cylinders. The 100 cylinder is working but not much power is coming from it. The other 3 are tired also with 120 and then add in blow by and if motor was mine I would rebuild it

    Your working with what is called a dog clutch. Hey @Bt Doctur could use your input The clutch engages in only one direction and it's opposite of the rotation of the prop. If the clutch is engaged then the prop can be rotated clockwise and it will click several times as the prop rotates...

    Hey @kenny nunez Not a OMC dude but dies when turning I'm thinking electrical If it was a Merc I look at shift interrupter and see if it's moving when being turned. The OMC does have a similar item and maybe same kind of thing

    The Seloc manuals for the most part are junk, you need a Mercruiser manual number 4 for the MC-1 or 6 for the MR To connect lower to upper, rotate the shift shaft/foot so prop lock in a counter-clockwise direction. Shift foot facing forward. Place a bungee cord on the prop so it stays locked...

    Rinda makes the scanner but have not seen where they have it for the MEFI 7 I don't even know what a 7 is, wonder if they took a 4 and have had have upgraded it 3 times over the years

    Only down size I can see is if you need help, your probably stuck with going back to them for help. Don't know of anyone that has the knowledge of a MEFI-7 if there are issues. Make sure to get all the manuals

    The trim cylinders have been replaced, or the boat use to have a MR and the drive was replaced with the MC-1 What trim tab? The ventilation plate looks to have the front part of it broken
