    looks like a parting line in the casting. however with water pooled in the bottom of the manifolds, I would file the surfaces flat, install new gaskets and run it for a run. if you still have moisture, get new manifolds.

    based on the pictures you have shown, the hull is rotten. post pics of your stringer repair and transom repair. if the floor was rotten, the transom was rotten 10 years earlier.. boats rot from the bottom up. first to go is the bottom of the transom, then the stringer, and lastly the floor.

    compression test wont impact your impeller. it wont be spinning fast enough to damage the impeller.. however if you want to run some water down the line feel free.
