    2013 F250 6.7 Powerstroke

When my diesel starts having Bat issues I break out the voltmeter and get the truck running. Disconnect ground on one Bat and measure the one still connected, usually 14.5V. Reconnect and then disconnect the other and do the same thing with other Bat. If one won't charge at full rate, that's...

    Deadman Switch?

Being a small tiller motor, pull start it can be done but would probably drill a hole to mount the switch. Assume a push to stop switch, so connect the kill switch in parallel with with that switch. The kill switches are made so the pull code will cause the switch to make contact or break...

Oil Change and Gear Oil Change issue . Can you help ?

Nothing wrong with 30W oil, many cars and trucks use 30W. Use what the manufacture of the motor recommends. Some use 15W40 Diesel, others 20W40 Merc stuff White in the gear lube means there is a seal leaking. With lube drained pressure test the drive at 10psi rotating the shaft to see if it...

    Side of floor supports

Not a naval engineer but I think it might start to crack where the deck connects to the strakes. The pounding of the hull on the outside edge had the deck to keep it from flexing there, and the supports under it kept the rest of the hull from flex. Adding the extra layers will help, just not...

Exhaust component inspection due to slight overheating

If motor is actually running hotter I would look for air bubbles coming from the raw water pump to the thermostat housing. Use a shot piece of clear hose to see what's happening. Don't see the flappers causing the issue, and many have used high temp gasket sealer. Most times its not needed...
