Mercury MAG 350 MPI Horizon loss of HP

The clymer book is good to use as a knee pad but no good for your motor, need a factory manual number 31. Fuel pressure should be 43 psi That isn't how the Reg is checked. Remove it and use a compressor with air regulator. Use a blow gun is good with a rubber tip. Remove the screen on the...

Disconnect the purple wire going to the coil on the + side, this removes power so there will be no spark Open throttle wide open and leave there until all cylinders are tested Have it crank over at least 3 times for each cylinder

Your right, last time I looked B3 wasn't there If your Alpha was doing fine when working, might think about B1, less seals to deal with and a bit less weight then B3

    Mercruiser 6.2 cool fuel pressure

The pic is just a representation and is not used as actual. Check the return line at the filter head and make sure its not plugged If its all good, then it has to be the regulator. The pump will pump 100 psi, but if the Reg see's anything above 60 psi or so it breaks the Reg.

    Mercruiser 6.2 cool fuel pressure

First check the fuel lines into the filter head. Was unable to verify that the input line coming from the filter to pump is coming from the side with arrow pointing out, and line from regulator goes to arrow in side Are you sure your gauge is accurate? You can see when fuel goes into the...

alpha 1 Gen 2 sterndrive broken lower drive shaft

SEI doesn't make a B3, Merc still has patent Its unusual even for a heavy boat to brake in the same spot other then over loaded. Might think about changing ratio to a 1.80 or 2.00 to reduce stress

    Adding 100+hp. Would you re-prop ?

Looks good I installed a new stero system years ago with 200 watt amp and hardley ever turn it on. When we anchor with others they may not want to hear mine music nor me theirs. Forget about it most the time even when we are by ourself, oh well it does sound good when we turn it on

    Dual tank fuel problem

Without a fuel valve, yes The pump will draw from the path of least resistance. So it will draw air before fuel. If you install a 3 way valve it will work

A new motor would see 150, anything below that is reduced power. A motor will run with 100 but not much power left

    No Power to ?

Is the port breaker the port engine 50 amp breaker or the 20 amp ignition breaker? Not finding voltage on either side of the 50 amp engine breaker means the 90 amp fuse has blown.

Mercury MAG 350 MPI Horizon loss of HP

That is the "In Gear" switch most likely. There is a second switch on the shift plate which sounds an alarm if the motor is not in gear. Not an issue if switch is there. Also running on a hose above 1500 can burn your impeller Pressure should be 43 psi at 1800 What did you do to check...

You don't have a serial number so how do you know the parts are discontinued? Unless you have a first or second Gen drive (before 1993) then getting parts is not an issue
