    Which VP 3.0 is it? Got a serial number? So far as the motor workings its a GM industrial motor. Can use a Mercruiser motor manual for same year Yes to all your questions above. Check for water in cylinders now, don't want it to rust up. Most likely it blew a head gasket from overheating

    No Yes Most likely your problem is things where not aligned correctly or shift foot got bent. Did you pull the drive and then separate the lower to replace the impeller? If you did pull the drive did you move the throttle to full forward before pulling?

    Do not know if your motor came with the senders or not. The Mech should know how to connect and "IF" they are on the motor Don't know what a code C or D is. Have a link I can read what it is? Most Marine senders come in either North American or European versions
