    Speedy sleeves are not going to fix this issue, you need new axles. The sleeve needs to fit tight and from the looks of the old, its slipping. In most cases you would heat up the sleeve getting it pretty hot and use oven or welding gloves to put it on

    Being it never run good the drive or prop may have been swapped out with one with to much pitch or higher ratio

    Need a motor serial number to verify, but most EFI motors will not sound the alarm with the key left ON. The ECM grounds the other side of the alarm if it sees and issue. The carb motors would sound because the senders would ground the other side of the alarm. Back to the problem. With key...

    There should also be a 20 amp fuse on the Red/Purple wire feeding the key switch. Should have 12V full time, doesn't matter if key is on or off

    Bottom right in your pic is where the engine connector is. Also would think that is where the breaker is. Don't know if Indmar uses a 90 amp fuse on the starter post, but if it does that might be it. Looks like a cube

    Using a slave solenoid(relay) just reduces the amount of current thru the key switch. It will work either way, but I do like using a relay

    Laptop, so I'll assume using Diacom software. Its not in limp mode because the would show up. Did the boat ever run better?

    I think that motor should have the raw water pump mounted on the crank shaft. The impeller is inside it and should be replaced. Use muffs on the outdrive, don't just put the drive in a bucket...

    Need more info, what's the serial number? Is this a new to you boat? If it is what pitch prop does it have?
