    The lube comes out the cap when the valve cap goes bad. The inner shaft doesn't look to good, hope it cleans up I would replace the inner shaft seal as well

    Drop cylinder test won't work on the L29 because it uses batch firing. Its possible its a wiring issue If you do buy injectors don't buy them from ebay, get them from Merc or GM This is a 555 but shows how batch firing works. Your MEFI 2 will use different pins

    Not that my change was a lot better, but I have a paws aboard ladder and modified it with to longer bolts. When ladder goes in the water the black protective caps are not there. So we pick up the paws and the bolts slide inside the ladder tubes and its secure. Just lift it off when needed

    Probably not a crate motor, or previous motor was replaced prior and came out of a truck. Truck motor is same as a boat, so no issue there. Could use a piston stop bolt to find accurate TDC. Use timing tape and be good to go

    Needs to be more centered IMO Is the bolt long enough to place a washer behind it, or maybe on the bracket?

    Dang, carb and only number 7 tuliped, that's different A tuliped valve is caused by lean mix and its got to hot in the cylinder. Your serial number shows TB5

    Knock knock , hello No need to trace wiring unless there is something wrong with it. To find out what it should be we need to know if you have points or some kind of electronic type
