    Wonder if they have it setup that way so it can be built cheaper :unsure: or may be an inverter/charger combo maybe Does it have a galvanic isolator installed? This is one I have which shows a combo unit which should do a pass thru when inverter isn't needed

    The 5.0 isn't muck better the a V6 and with a 23 footer I would want at least a 5.7 My 23.5 footer has a 7.4 with dry weight of 4800 lb

    Do the fridges have a AC and DC breakers? Have seen some installed that only run on DC but still have a breaker Oh and I have an additional shore power breaker next to the shore power connection

    Yes, its a MEFI 3. Looking at ODB Diagnostics your 3858887 would probably use 3858888 for the 5.7 but do check with Bob I see he retunes for $400

    The number off yours should match the other. Then there is the issue if it actually works. Make a call to OBD Diagnostics and ask what Bob can do. Could be the reprogramming will cost less

    Thanks for the S/N Looking up the motor I'm unable to find the ECM numbver/type. Thinking its a MEFI-3 and if so it can be reprogrammed. Its an easy swap from 5.0 to 5.7

    4000 and 4200 is great stuff, but to do holes correctly where they will never leak water into the wood, we drill bigger holes and then fill with epoxy. If a holes is drilled just for the screw, even 4200 may not be able to keep all the water out over time. Even the screws you removed already...

    "IF" designed properly, everything should run off shore power and only run off the inverter when switched. Most Friges are 12VDC and 120AC and don't use an inverter

    Water logged, now comes the expensive part. Put a piece of tape on maybe 1/4 drill bit, have it about 1/2 inch from tip and drill some test holes inside. Do transom, stringers and other areas down low.

    Your water logged and that's what's causing the issue. Need to find where the water is, transom and/or hull
