    That looks like the idle adjusting screw. It had a cap over it at one time once adjusted at the factory. The PO tore through it

    Should be able to place ohm meter on the temp switch leads one at a time and measure to ground. Neither should read to ground

    Take a ohm meter and measure the contact. Place probes on one way then swap them and note the difference. One way will read low resistance, the other way will read high. If it reads the same ion both directions then its shorted

    Thanks Muffs on, water on full force and therefore water spraying all around the muffs. Motor starts and water continues to spray all around like there is no change. If yes to both, then something is clogged up, or the water tube in the drive (Alpha drive) is not aligned, or impeller has burned up

    Guess it depends on how much. No one likes putting oil in the water but if your loosing a few ounces all season I would live with and recheck every year. If your loosing more, then might want to go for new seals
