    Overheating

This is the best pic I can find The thermostat top looks OK but appears to be missing the other hose connection down lower which comes from the circulating water pup and would be a small hose The main circulating water pump hose (large) comes in from the bottom left middle, and exits far left...

Inconsistent bogging/acceleration until it hit around 20mph - Mercruiser 5.7l

If head was removed so was the distributor. Checking firing order should be done. Star at plug No 1 and the work clockwise to verify they are in the right order. Your No 1 on the dizzy may not be in same place as the pic Disconnect coil wire from coil and pull the kill switch (man...

    Seadoo GTI engine issue

If I read your problem correctly, is the oil injection was deleted and its been running without premix. If so then the motor is where the problem will be

Starts dies blows fuse on take off

That's not a Merc number. Look above the starter for a plate. It would be a number, letter, and 6 more numbers 0W123456 I think you have a TKS carb and the fuse blowing would be 20 amp. The temp switch is seen in the pic, and is probably shorted. It might even have blown the ignition fuse...

    Overheating

The one coming from (flow toward) the water pump should go to the thermostat. If it did go to the water pump this would help flow into the block. With it going toward the mans reduces the flow into the block. What does the thermostat housing look like?

Inconsistent bogging/acceleration until it hit around 20mph - Mercruiser 5.7l

We're going to have to go at this like they messed everything up. A clicking could be lifters but this would not need a head gasket. Get a lianer compression gage from a auto parts store. Disconnect the coil, open throttle to wide open and do a compression test

    Mercruiser 5.7 V8 (1997) jumping RPM

Howdy Manuel Need your motor serial number? Assuming your watching the boat Tachometer change rpm. Unless your hearing the motor change rpm alog with watching the Tach it may just be a Tach issue and not the motor. If you have TBV then the wire needs to go to ground to set timing. If you...

    SX cobra out drive crack

Doesn't look like a crack, looks like someone used a screw driver to separate the drive at one time. You should be ok. That said, the drive should be removed at least every couple season to check motor alignment

How many hoses go into the connection? If more then 2, where do they come from? Where do the thermostat hoses connect?

Inconsistent bogging/acceleration until it hit around 20mph - Mercruiser 5.7l

It never ran right since the head gasket was replaced. The other issues that keep coming I'm wondering just what the mechanics have "actually" done. All things listed while time consuming are not hard, and if done correctly there should be no issues running again. Did the motor over heat...
