    The scrape looks like gel coat, and if that's what it is, then there is no issue. Cost of bottom pain depends on your area, but I would figure around $20 to $100 a linear foot

    The scrape is just a scrape. What the hull needs is to be sanded with 80 grit until all loose stuff has been removed. Then patch any blisters or other things that need attention. Then at least 2 coats of c=barrier coat and 3 coats of bottom paint

    The cable can be removed with the bell housing after the cable is removed from the jacket, or remove the cable and then with a deep well socket the nut. Either way, need to remove the cable before the bell housing can be removed. Now if you want to just move the bell housing out of the way...

    Open the valve feeding the toilet, if it is feed by a thru hull, or fill water tank if feed by fresh water system. Most hand pump type use a thru hull. Then start pumping, it will bring the water up and in.

    Doubt anyone can advise what might have caused it without seeing and putting hands on the wiring. The wiring burnt and most likely the insulation on the wires was a chafed and shorted. It didn't damage the motor computer (2017 assuming new motor)

    I'm also unable to verify what the injectors are or should be. My guess is the PO changed them out for some on ebay so there is no telling where they came from, or what they were used on Injectors that should be there are Merc 852956A1 or Mallory 9-33106 I would send them out for flow...

    Is the throttle cable adjusted so it applies a slight bit of pressure holding carb closed at idle? When its running, do you see any drips down the throat of the carb?
