    That clears it up, you have oval port vortec heads Here is one which will work Edelbrock 2561 and carb adapter 2732 Edlebrock shows out of stock, but places like summit racing and others indicate they do have them. I would call before placing order...

    OK its like a SCR You say drives are in a fixed position, meaning once adjusted for speed while on plane, there fixed or they do not trim? Assuming trimmed and then the issue starts.     I believe the heads should be rectangular ports and not oval. Can you verify?

    Your probably correct but I have always called them emulsion tubes. I'll go back to my first comment. A remanufacture or someone had replaced one of the tubes during a rebuild, most likely from finding one damaged. I would say they need to be the same so each side gets the same amount of fuel...

    First time for everything, but never even thought about seat covers for a PWC. They would mean the seat and the cover would be wet. Then cover needs to be removed and dried so mold won't grow

    On a Merc carb or Rochester 2GC I'm not seeing an aspirator. Some do have main jet with aspirator, just not seeing one on these carbs. That said, there are no new carbs, only rebuilt ones. They would normally be the same, and if not then the rebuilder didn't have the parts to rebuild correctly.
