    The E makes it an Evinrude.-----The F makes it a direct injected computer controlled motor.------You would need BRP / Evinrude dealer support at $100 + / hour for service work.----Might not be easy to find a shop to work on it.

    No thermostat on 58 models.-----Thermostats came out in the 59 model year.

    Spline on pump shaft.-----Nothing to disconnect.-----You have to hope that no water got in there to jam the splines with rust.----Inspect / check pump gear box for water before spending any beer tokens,

    If drain plugs were left out the boat would fill up.----The exhaust / muffler must be drained for winters on these things !
