    you have not answered - what motor you have not checked compression with a gauge. not sure what you are doing with your hand. a healthy V8 is 135-150 psi on all cylinders, a tired V8 is 115-135psi on all cylinders, a motor needing rebuild is below 115 psi on any cylinder you have not properly...

    If I was to take it anywhere...... about 4 of them that have been in business for over 3 decades and have a lot of good reviews. I would go the route of looking at longevity and reviews as I have been in Sanford only once in my life and it had nothing to do with a boat.

    Would help to know what you are working on, and what you did Engines need compression, fuel and correctly timed spark Did you have the distributor out? Did you verify timing? What is your compression readings? How did you check spark? Where did you check spark?

    Im going with stuck injectors or dirty injectors on the one side. If you check fuel pressure, then key off, does the preasure remain, or drop immediately?

    welcome aboard. your motor has a distributor, and with the firing order, there is no way that only one bank can not fire. That can only happen with a COP engine (coil on plug) cam retard and ignition timing are two different things. when was the last time you had the injectors cleaned?
