you could always do this....... (points-less ignition) but if the upper seal isnt a beast to change, i would go that route.
my 13 year old german shepherd isnt well, vet says an operation may help, but at his age, its iffy. hes a wonderful dog, and still has a bit of pup in him now and then. should i put him through surgery, or do the "other" thing, so hes not suffering?
boating is winding down in my neck of the woods, and i want to add and overheat alarm on at least one of my non t-stat motors just for a little project this fall/winter. what temp on the head would be a good point to aim for to have an audible alarm? im thinking around 180 deg?

sorry to add to the hijack........but its quite easy to convert to fuel pump. it can be done in less than a half hour......no drilling or special tools!! heres a few pics .
a work mate of mine is replacing a well line.....from well pump to pressure tank. the pump discharge is 1". the contractor digging up the old line says he needs to go with 1 1/4" line? it doesnt make sense to me.....if the pump has a 1" discharge, what, if any, benefit would it be to adapt up...
one of the guys at work just bought a 1978(?) ariens garden tractor with the front pto.(model #931001). the jackshaft and pulley for the pto is nfg . anyone know of any sites where those parts could be found?

it is a mikuni rectangular single line pump(rebuildable). and yep.....those are just brass compression fittings that can be found at most any hardware store. as you can see from the pic, i couldnt find a 90deg elbow with compression fittings...

well i "think" i have this one buttoned up. ( other than fuel line clamps). the modules seem to work well, fuel pump conversion went well but the pump had to be tilted a bit to clear a casting and a vibration rubber on the cowl.
