Heat Exchanger blocked: recommendations how to flush or unclog?

My Bravos had crank water pickup pumps and were easy to access and replaced impellers before I went inside, HE. I suspected former owner never rodded out HE because I did find small impeller debris in a few of the HX holes. I rodded out and then use air hose to remove most of the rest.

What reason causes the engine milky oil?

Make sure water is not coming from hatch and leaking on top and into motor. Been there! If raw water-cooled pull risers and look for signs. Do compression test on motor.

    Oil pressure

If mechanical shows constant oil pressure in tune with normal readings as engine warms, then something else is defective in your other gauge or wiring. Pray you don't need a motor tear down and new bearings.

if he rebuilt wood/glass transom OR/AND installed a rebuilt MC Transom assembly (not drive installed), I WOULD. Safer than sorry.... I have used the bilge fill technique with y pipes installed just to be sure o ring didn't slip out when I was installing everything. I have never had a problem...

    Testing transom assembly for leaks

I have done this test more than once. I don't fill bilge to where water runs into drive shaft opening. You have to monitor water filling, but it works. Then, install motor.

    Starter wont engage flywheel.

Did you replace or move distributor/wires? If Chevy V8, bring #1 cylinder to top on compression and check where distributor rotor is point to.

    Starter wont engage flywheel.

Pray it is not flywheel ring gear. Does starter require shims? Compare old starter to new one. Vendor may have sold you a different starter.

Hose leak at trim pump oil reservoir

Scott is mostly correct unless threads are leaking. Most of the time they don't. Sometimes fatigue or dissimilar metals will cause issues. I always use Teflon or liquid Teflon (sparingly). (IF I CANNOT STOP LEAK AND LAST RESORT)

    Water in upper unit

If not bellows, the fwd drive shaft seal may be allowing spray to get in via hatches.
