Was wondering if I take the flywheel and coils off from under my 1985 30 horse, the CDI unit and the wiring harness and it might all work. But maybe it doesn't work that way

Going to get rid of a bunch of test props but I can't figure out what this one fits...
Thought it was a 9.9 to 15 JohnnyRude but while the shaft fits the hub doesn't go up inside.
These are the casting numbers, anyone know?
You don't need to pierce the wire in there. You slide your pick in-between the wire and the wire cover until you hit the metal connector.
I would think the sensor would ground out internally not in the body of the sensor but I could be wrong.
Did you check both sensors?
