    winch strap bolt?

    Re: winch strap bolt? Make sure the Bolt is installed right next to the hub of the winch and not out on the spool! It should be taking the strain in shear against the side plate and should not bend. It there is space between the strap and the winch hub, the bolt will bend under the strain.
