    5500 and the prop I have on it now is 11 3/8x14 the prop I hit bottom with was 13x11 but I didn’t think it fit just right on shaft so I went with this one it came with boat as well

    I did change oil and filter did the grease fittings and steering rod, did not rinse power head or use corrosion guard, how do you rinse power head

    Ok I gotcha, I did run into shallow water this summer and hit bottom but I was raising trim up and put in neutral at the time it hit, ended up taking a dime size chunk out of two of the blades, so that ride back it definitely felt more vibration, but after I put new prop on it ran good.

    You mean the boat itself or the prop hitting rocks, I understand the prop but if I slam into a bank with the pontoons which I don’t plan to do it could cause dynamic halt? What does this do to motor?

    I’m also a first time boat owner and the boat runs good no problems all summer, I have put it up for winter changed crankcase and gear oil and fogged the motor , but any other maintenance suggestions I should do to keep it running good this spring? I do plan to change all filters and plugs...

    Ok so I found a nipple on bottom of crank case beside oil filter right above dip stick you can see it in pic I believe that bottom hose goes to, and I believe the hose on top of motor goes into the fly wheel cover in that open port in pic.

    Thanks that is good info, I used the boat every weekend this summer and it ran good only issue is when shifting into neutral from either gear it dies so maybe this recirculating line has something to do with that?
