    I know it's been beaten but I'm gonna ask anyway. I have the option to use 8 or 4 ga wire for my trolling motor. I know 4 is overkill but is 8 enough?     is something missing here?

    Looking at the carb, it seems to my untrained eye that there is something missing from the left hole above the intake opening.
