    I assume you are referring to part #6 in the Diagram. Remove the Cover #1, there should be a couple of Bolts(#19 on diagram below) holding it to the Mount Bracket #19 below, which is part of the Swivel Bracket #1 below, and it should slide out without too much effort

    Dropping to a 15 inch will get you closer to the 5750 Have you done a Compression Test on the Engine? Is the Spark strong enough on all Cylinders to jump a 3/8" Gap?

    First of all, what is the WOT Range for that Engine? Is is the Engine in Good Mechanical Condition and in Tune? About 5200 rpm, which is still likely on the low side

    O OMC(not counting LawnBoy) only used the Loop Charging in the 3 cylinder and 41 and 44 inch 2 cylinder Blocks until 1985 when they introduced it to a new Line of V Blocks
